4 Easy Homemade Dog Treats

Sometimes you just really need to spoil your pup with a treat… and sometimes you need to go a little bit further than a store-bought treat. Homemade treats are special because you know exactly what are in the treats, and you can add an extra surprise if you know your pup’s favourite ingredient. Treats will help your dog bond with you, and become comfortable with a minder or walker faster.

Here are 4 easy and healthy treats that your dog might love:

 

Peanut Butter Cookies

2 cups Peanut butter

1/2 cup flour

2 eggs

1/2 cup water

Mix until consistent enough to be a dough

Bake at 150 degrees C for 20 minutes

 

Puree Bites

2 cups of organic whole wheat flour

2 jars of pureed baby food

Mix together

Bake at 150 degrees C for 20-25 minutes

 

Apple Yogurt Bars

2 apples (cut or pureed)

1 cup of nonfat plain yogurt

Mix together and pour into ice cube tray

Put in freezer until frozen

 

Oatmeal Apple Cinnamon Cookies

1 cup of dry quick cook oatmeal

1/2 cup of apple sauce

1 egg.

Mix together

Bake at 150 degrees C for 20 minutes
